Dates, times, and locations set for second-round series against Thunder
The Dallas Mavericks have announced the dates, times, and locations for their second-round playoff series against the Oklahoma City Thunder. The series will begin with Game 1 in Dallas on Monday, May 2nd, at 7:00 pm CT. Game 2 will also be played in Dallas on Wednesday, May 4th, at 8:00 pm CT. The series will then move to Oklahoma City for Games 3 and 4 on Friday, May 6th, and Sunday, May 8th, with both games scheduled to start at 8:00 pm CT. If necessary, Game 5 will be played in Dallas on Tuesday, May 10th, at 8:00 pm CT. Game 6 would be played in Oklahoma City on Thursday, May 12th, at 8:00 pm CT, and Game 7, if necessary, would be played in Dallas on Saturday, May 14th, at 8:00 pm CT.
Mavericks to increase capacity for playoffs, host COVID-19 vaccination events on-site
The Mavericks have also announced that they will be increasing capacity for the playoffs at American Airlines Center. The team will be allowed to host up to 50% capacity for the first two rounds of the playoffs, which is an increase from the 25% capacity that was allowed during the regular season. The Mavericks will also be hosting COVID-19 vaccination events at American Airlines Center on game days. Fans who get vaccinated at the arena will receive a free ticket to a future Mavericks game.
